As part of our work as an official suporter of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Stradbroke Weddings was proud to host its annual Pink Ribbon Breakfast in October at the new Hotel at Point Lookout. Enlistng support from many of our suppliers, Stradbroke Weddings raised over $2000.

The Island turned on a spectacular morning as guests gathered from both the Island and mainalnd for a sumptuous pink breakfast that included pink champagne on arrival. Tables were dressed in crisp white linen with pink ribbons and floral bouquets to match the pink theme – even the guests dressed in pink for the cause!

Prizes were donated from local suppliers including bottles of Moet champagne and an orginal artwork by local artist, Sandy Okali. These were auctioned on the morning along with lots of other goodies, helping to raise vital funds. Local artists and inspirational speakers from the mainland entertained guests throughout the morning. A big thank you to everyone for making the day such a huge success!

Stradbroke Weddings will be hosting our next Pink Ribbon Breakfast on the Island on October the 24th this year. For more details, please call Stradbroke Weddings on 3409 8768.

“Thank you for organising the charity breakast. It was a really great event. It has encouraged me to take the ferry over and go to the Island a little more this summer” Patrea O’Donoghue

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay on Stradbroke Island and in particular the beautiful breakfast function that you organised. The whole atmosphere was absolutley delightful and combined with the sunny day and venue, it was especially enjoyable. I have told everyone how fantastic the flowers were, so congratulations. I was delighted to attend and be part of the day and express options to people who are having challenges in their lives” Judi Shearer WOw! Consultants.
