The Bayside Bulletin recently featured the 2008 Redlands on Moreton Bay Tourism Awards winners. For the fourth consecutive year, Stradbroke Weddings won the category of Best Specialised Tourism Service. At the gala award ceremony, Stradbroke Weddings was also inducted into the 2008 Hall of Fame – a prestigious and much sought after award!

Every Bride’s favourite wedding read, Cosmopolitan Brides, features yet another fabulous Stradbroke Weddings event with the wedding of Jill and Peter Catt. Jill and Peter are regular visitors to Stradbroke Island. Jill’s parents own a gorgeous home at Point Lookout where the wedding reception was held.

Jill and Peter chose to hold their ceremony on the cliffs overlooking 30kms of pristine surf beach. A bar was installed on site and as the couple said their ‘I dos”, the champagne corks popped right on cue!

Stradbroke Weddings organised Jill and Peter’s wedding ceremony and reception, leaving them to simply enjoy their day. Our team decorated the home and garden where the reception was held with a funky white and green theme. The beautiful deck overlooking a panoramic view of the ocean and Moreton Island featured white rice paper lanterns and leather ottomans with green trim. Jill requested no fuss floral arrangements with a natural feel. Stradbroke Flowers supplied gorgeous, simple table arrangements and bouquets featuring white Cymbidium Orchids, giant lotus pods and tropical greenery.
